I can’t believe how quickly September has come and gone! This has to be however my favourite time of the year — cooler weather, turning leaves, wearing scarves, cozy leggings and hot chocolates!
Here’s what I’ve enjoyed this month in terms of skin, face, body and hair — only one item each! And of course, just like every month, I’ve thrown in a random non-beauty favourite item at the end of the post!
SKIN: Hydraluron by Indeed Labs
Really like this stuff. I tend to use this when I feel my skin needs a boost of hydration and I’m finding that this month as the weather is getting cooler, my face tends to feel a little drier, so I’ve been reaching for this more often than usual. I use about a pea-size amount all over my face before applying moisturizer. If you want to read a more in-depth review I did on Hydraluron feel free to read here!
FACE: NYX Blush in Pinched
Love this blush — the colour, the formula, the price, and the packaging! A deep, bright pinky-peach that was summer-y enough of a shade for the beginning of September, but deep enough for the cooler weather this month.
BODY: Coconut Body Scrub by The Body Shop
Although I am welcoming the fall, I can’t let go just yet of summer scents! This coconut body scrub not only smells like summertime, it works to slough away any dry patches that the cooler weather has bestowed upon me.
HAIR: Pantene Smooth Blow Dry Cream
This is a great, all-around smoothing cream that helps to keep my hair detangled and frizz-free after I’ve straightened it. About a dime-size pump is all I need to coat my shoulder-length hair. Makes for a smooth finish after blow-drying and straightening. And as you can expect from Pantene, this smells great too!
RANDOM FAVOURITE: Nine West tote bag
I love me a good bag. On a trip to the U.S. at the beginning of September, I scored this Nine West tote bag for only $30! I’ve been using it and loving it pretty much everyday this month. It’s great with the thin straps (they don’t fall off my narrow shoulders) and they are not too long that when I carry the bag by the straps, the bag itself doesn’t drag or hit the pavement (always a bag-peeve of mine as I am only 5 feet tall!). It’s got plenty of space to hold my wallet, makeup case, coffee bottle, iPad and much more.
What are your September faves?
