Inspired by my friend and workmate, Rachelle, I thought I’d do a fun THREE PART post on some travel essentials! Next week I am going on a train trip for a few days with one of my lovely sisters, Sam. I don’t travel very much, but when I do I have to admit I really like the task of making a list of things to pack — I’m a list girl! Not so much though, do I enjoy packing — it’s not until then do I actually realize how many things I actually use, in terms of shower/toiletry essentials, skincare and makeup that I need on a daily basis! It’s crazy! So my goal is to pack only the very minimally necessary! Uh oh, fingers crossed!
Today’s post will focus on my shower/toiletry essentials. Next post will show you my skincare takeaways. And my final post in this little series will be my makeup essentials!
Anyway, since most of our time will be spent on a train and a long shower time in a shared public bathroom will probably be out of the question, I figure I’d go with only the absolutely necessary to just get me clean and keep me feeling fresh! This is what I’ve got:
LIST OF PRODUCTS:
- Wet Ones for hands
- Cleansing clothes for face – Target brand
- Cotton Swabs
- Cotton Facial pads
- Batiste Dry Shampoo
- L’oreal Elnett Hairspray
- Living Proof Thickening Shampoo and Conditioner
- The Body Shop Cocoa Butter body butter
- The Body Shop Coconut Shower Cream
- Crest toothpaste
- Scope mouthwash
- Dove Deodorant
- Bath & Body Japanese Cherry Blossom hand sanitizer
I have to say — I love miniatures! Yes, you end up paying more for travel/min-size version of things but the cuteness factor is all worth it! Yup, I’m a sucker. And it’s not very often I get to travel so there!
What are your essential shower/toiletry essentials when going on a trip?
Stay tuned for tomorrow for PART 2: Skincare Essentials!!
Thanks for reading, Pretties!!
